Getting a library card for the Lewis & Clark Library is fast and easy! 

Library cards are free for all residents of Lewis & Clark county, or who pay Lewis & Clark county property tax.  If you live our of the county, you can still get a library card good for 1 year for $45 a family.

Fill out the online form located here.  You can also fill out the form and bring it into the library. The form is located here.

Once you have your application filled out, please bring one of the following identification items to the library, and we will give you your card.

  • A picture ID with your current Lewis & Clark county address
  • A picture ID and an alternate proof of your current address in Lewis & Clark county, such as your checkbook, voter or automobile registration, fishing or hunting license, or a utility bill
  • A Carroll College or Helena College student identification card
